With over a decade of experience in personal finance advisory (outside Australia), Vishal comes with rich experience as columnist on personal finance matters including real estate, insurance, retirement planning and investments. Additionally, he has excelled in the field of accounting and finance, holding senior positions in strategic financial management in diverse industries and economies.
Combining his business acumen, international experience in corporate financing, and writing various successful government grants in Australia, he has decided to make the most of his experience in the Australian scenario. As a finance & mortgage broker, he is associated with major Australian brands and strives to provide the right financial solution to his clients who are looking for finance/refinance (home loans, business finance and project finance), particularly for a reboot in the post-COVID19 world.
Apart from Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking, Vishal holds professional qualifications in accounting, finance and management. He is currently also the President and founder member of the ANZ Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (USA) and has been appreciated by the Institute for his leadership skills.
Denis started his working career studying as a Draftsman, working on both commercial retail properties and residential designs. He decided to leave this field once the introduction of CAD computerised drawing became the future, as the passion for Denis, was the freehand drawing.
Denis started in finance in the early 1980’s, working for a consumer finance company, then moving on to join the Statewide Building Society as a Lending Manager.
In mid-1986 Denis was approached to join the new National Mutual Royal Bank, founded in February 1986 by National Mutual and the Royal Bank of Canada. He held the role of Area Manager, with the primary role of business development within the housing and business market.
In 1990 the NMRB was acquired by ANZ banking corporation with whom Denis worked for until he resigned to start a business of his own, outside of finance. In 1998 Denis moved to the Mid North Coast NSW where he worked on a casual basis for a prominent Credit Union. After a very short period the CEO of the Credit Union approached Denis to consider working full time on a 12-month contract with the aim for developing the lending portfolio within a specified region. At the expiration of the contract, he was offered the permanent position of Branch Manager in Toormina NSW.
Denis went onto substantially build the lending holding of the branch and subsequently was appointed Area Manager.
He then went on to become Commercial Portfolio Manager within the business operation.
After leaving the Credit union Denis went on to work for St George Bank as an Area Business Manager. He relocated to Victoria in 2016 and started working as mortgage broker.
